Andy manages a number of our group health insurance clients who vary by size, industry and benefit offerings and oversees KBM Management as a business entity. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the State University at Albany and his Group Benefits Associate (GBA) designation as part of the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS®) program through the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Andy started his career in the field of Human Services and is proud to have spent over 10 years assisting the learning and developmentally disabled in achieving greater independence through positive work experiences. He continues his service to this field through his Board participation with the Learning Disabilities Association of CNY.
His change in careers didn’t change his desire to help others make sense of a confusing world. The world of Health and Self-Insured Workers’ Compensation Insurance seemed a perfectly logical leap given the abundant regulations imposed on this industry. His critical analysis skills and experience working in the area of Group Health Plan Management throughout NYS helped grow KBM’s client base to include private industry seeking alternative funding options and Consumer Driven Health Plan recommendations.
Andy is proud to be perpetuating his family’s business into the 21st century and to be working with many dedicated, long-term employees who are responsible for KBM’s success.
